Mix salt and glitter on a tray. Tape a picture of an ice skater to a small dowel rod. Tape a snowflake picture to the top of a paintbrush for a snow wand. Practice creating shapes, letters, numbers, and words in the snow. For something harder, tape an ice skater to a magnet. Use a magnet underneath to move the ice skater around in the snow. This takes more thought because you have to work underneath the tray to create your design.
