Start by collecting grass, leaves, and flowers. Crush them onto your paper to learn about chlorophyll and pigments. Discuss everything you can about these words!
Add a pic-a-nic blanket by making red horizontal and vertical stripes. Add little fingerprint ants. Make sure to put three dots and discuss the head, thorax, and abdomen. Draw on 6 legs that all insects have and some antennas.
Grab a local grocery ad and cut out and glue on your favorite foods for the pic-a-nic.
